CPT Megan Tidwell
JROTC Instructor
Captain Megan Tidwell received a BA of Education from Dixie State University while also being a 4 year collegiate athlete at Dixie State University (Women’s Basketball).She Enlisted in the Utah National Guard in 2010. During her time in the Utah National Guard she served in Baghdad, Iraq and was a Non-Commissioned Officer before attending Officer Candidate School and became a logistics officer for the Utah Army National Guard. She has served as a Company Commander for a Logistics Company and is currently serving in the Utah National Guard as a Public Affairs Officer. She taught for two years as an academic teacher and TAC officer at Valley Forge Military Academy in Pennsylvania and has been teaching at UMA since 2018 as a Military Instructor and English Instructor. She is currently pursuing her masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
