Jeff was born in western New York, just south of Buffalo. He joined the military just out of high school and spent 3 years in the US Army participating in Desert Storm/Shield. After the military he traveled the east coast of the United States working in many places and backpacking parts of the Appalachian Trail.
In 2000 he relocated to Australia where he started his career in business banking living in many interesting places across Australia. While in Australia he attended the Australian Institute of Business and received his Bachelors in Management as well as received his Masters in Business Administration focused on Finance.
In 2015 he returned to the United States. After 16 years of a banking career he decided to make a career change and made the move to teaching and accepted his first teaching position with UMA in 2018. He has taught College and Career Awareness, Digital Literacy and Financial Literacy. In 2019 he will add Accounting 1 and Introduction to Business to his class load.
He also is the Head Coach of the UMA Camp Williams Wrestling Program. In his spare time he spends his time playing video games, fly fishing, watching college football and playing role playing games.
He is married and lives with his wife, step-daughter, step-son, foster son from Afghanistan, 2 cats and 2 dogs. He also has 2 daughters who live in Australia with one of them planning to join the family here in Utah after she graduates high school in December 2019.
